Dr. S. M. Venkatpathi, Founder Chairman of the East Point Group of Institutions, is widely respected as a visionary educationist whose life exemplified hard work, determination, and an unwavering commitment to the transformative power of education. He firmly believed that education makes a human being complete, instilling fairness, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility toward society.

Inspired by the values and blessings of his beloved parents, Sri. Muniswamappa and Smt. Gowramma, Dr. Venkatpathi dedicated his life to building institutions that would enlighten society through quality education. Beginning with a humble school in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, in 1997, his vision gradually grew into the East Point Group of Institutions — today a thriving educational ecosystem known for academic excellence and world-class infrastructure.

Through his leadership and relentless efforts, the East Point educational movement expanded to create opportunities for thousands of learners across diverse disciplines. His remarkable contributions to education were recognized with the Lifetime Achievement honour from Tumkur University in 2012.

The establishment of East Point Indian International School, Ajman reflects his vision of extending quality education beyond borders, nurturing young minds with strong academic foundations, values, and global perspectives. His legacy continues to inspire students, educators, and future leaders to pursue excellence and serve society with integrity.
